Kurt Roscillo
UX/UI and Graphic Designer
About Me
Hi there, my name is Kurt. I’m a digital designer recently relocated to Oceanside, California.
I spent the last 4 years designing for a thriving eCommerce startup in Phoenix, AZ. In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, I made the transition from Graphic Designer to UX/UI Designer. I quickly saw an opportunity for growth in transitioning from strictly graphic design to UI/UX that would allow for both personal and professional growth. UI/UX challenges my design mind-set and pushes my skills to align with intentional elements meant to improve digital function and flow. I feel at home in this role and very much desire a position that allows me to extend my skillset even further.

I am a natural seeker of knowledge and remain eager to put new skills to the test. I am attuned to look for problems to be solved and questions that may not have answers but only lead to more questions. I’m a creature of process and a sucker for data. Making discoveries, creating design patterns, and overcoming a problem is what excites me. The field of web design is ever-changing and as such, so am I. I am continuously adapting and learning from my professional experiences making the focused effort to reflect on those to inform my decisions for tomorrow.
I love collaborating just as much as I love independent tasks. I’m very adaptable and always willing to learn from others. I approach situations with an open mindset, making it clear to my team I am ready to learn and listen. It’s our job as UX/UI Designers to discover solutions. I value the process that stands behind those discoveries.
I never want to stop learning and moving forward. I hope this gives you a better idea of who I am. Given the opportunity to speak further, I would really enjoy learning more about your company as well.
Cheers,
Kurt
